What is RF microneedling?

Radiofrequency microneedling combines fine needles with radiofrequency energy delivered beneath the skin’s surface. The treatment creates a controlled injury intended to stimulate the skin’s repair response. Morpheus8 is the device featured in the practice’s original guide.

RF microneedling differs from microneedling without radiofrequency. The addition of heat changes both the treatment and its risks. A consultation should address the device, treatment depth, area, and your medical and skin history.

Your skin, your treatment plan

You may want to discuss skin texture, acne scars, fine lines, or firmness. Tell your provider which concerns matter most and what result you hope to see. Treatment suitability depends on an assessment; no procedure can promise a particular degree of improvement.

Bring information about medications, previous skin treatments, skin conditions, and any history of unusual scarring or pigmentation changes. Ask who will perform the procedure and about their training with the device.

What to expect from treatment

Your provider will explain preparation, comfort measures, the areas to be treated, and the planned course of care. Treatment settings and the number of sessions should be individualized. The videos above include an introduction and an animation of Morpheus8 face and body treatment.

Recovery and follow-up

Discuss redness, swelling, tenderness, and other possible effects before booking, including how recovery may fit your schedule. Follow the aftercare instructions you receive and ask when you can resume your usual skin care and activities. Keep follow-up appointments so your provider can assess healing and your response.
