MD - Medical Degree: A Doctor of Medicine is a doctoral degree for physicians (medical doctors). This degree is granted by medical schools. It is a first professional degree, an academic degree that prepares the holder for a particular profession by emphasizing competency skills along with theory and analysis. This profession is licensed and regulated by a governmental or government-approved body.

In order to become credentialed/registered, one must meet certain clinical experience and educational prerequisites and have passed this examination. Continuing education or re-examination is required to maintain certification.

RPVI - Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation: This credential is offered only to physicians.
